Course Overview
A course designed for real first aid skills
Training techniques focusing on student outcomes have resulted in breaking subject matter into smaller sections, allowing students to gain an understanding of how trauma and illness affects a casualty. Each section of the training builds on subject matter you have already mastered.
As skills are developed in assessment and casualty management opportunities are given to demonstrate what has been learned and it’s done in a fun and comfortable environment. A balance of teaching and practice keeps the day moving so students are stimulated and active.
We aim to reduce time in seats, and increase time in practice.
Trainers to give you the best experience
We understand that students are individuals and not all people learn in the same fashion. A strong emphasis on active learning in this program will let you take your knowledge and try it out immediately.
Learn a bit, play a bit, and hone your new skills! We encourage students to share their own experiences and help each other come up with unique solutions to critical problems. Open discussion in the classroom helps students to separate First Aid myths from practical actions that really work. Students should be prepared to participate, and be challenged to problem solve. Asking questions, making suggestions, and trying out different ideas take your learning to the next level.
Our trainers are skilled in supporting students with different learning approaches and abilities. A friendly and fun classroom environment to reduce anxiety and stress for all students who require extra support. A variety of options for assessment and practice are available to encompass a wider range of learner capabilities.
