About the Trainer
Kelly Spencer is a qualified Respiratory Scientist with over 24 years’ experience in Respiratory Medicine. Kelly originally started her career in Northern Ireland, then moved to Dublin to try her hand at Medical Sales before making the long trip to Australia.
Along with being a trainer/assessor for KINNECT Training, she also who holds the role of TSANZ Auditor of Spirometry Assessments for DNREM Coal Board Medicals.
Kelly’s teaching philosophy is to engage students and build rapport, whilst making the teaching sessions fun and relaxed. She loves to share her enthusiasm for Spirometry and achieving the best results possible.
Her accomplishments include working in two large tertiary hospitals in Melbourne, assisting in developing a training program in respiratory function testing at Monash Health, and developing a database to store and track oxygen patients at Box Hill Hospital.
Her latest venture is becoming involved in Respiratory Fit testing. At home she loves spending time with her two young children Ryan and Zara, kitesurfing husband Neil, paddle boarding, yoga and loves whipping up some culinary delights.
